The layout

  • Single column, sans-serif
  • Uppercase section headings with a section rule
  • Right-aligned dates; bold name
  • Compact, analyst-friendly density

Where it comes from

Azimuth is adapted from one of the sans-serif templates in the open-source resumake.io project (MIT, by Saad Quadri): a single-column design with uppercase section headings over a rule and dates aligned to the right.

It's the most utilitarian look in the set — no serif warmth, just clean structure — which suits engineers and analysts. The design predates resumake's packaging but isn't reliably attributable to a single earlier author, so we credit the resumake template it came from.
